Rob and Beth are saddened to hear the news about a local family losing everything in a house fire:
On November 13th, a fire broke out in the Rexhame area of Marshfield that quickly spread to Mara and Isabel's home. Luckily there were no injuries, even to the cats, but the house is a total loss.
There is a comedy fundraiser coming up at the end of the month so Kathleen Leonard, organizer of the fundraiser event and long-time friend of the effected family, came on The South Shore's Morning News to talk about how people can help out the family with venmo donations, attend the comedy fundraiser event, and the current state of housing for the family. Rob and Beth are always so happy to start off the week with a spiritual alignment during the segment, More Comfort Monday with Diane Jordan of Natural Body Works in Kingston.
This week, Diane is helping us maximize our manifestation powers by breaking down how to connect with your wishes and desires, which will hopefully enrich them to come true in our lives:
A powerful manifestation process starts with our specific wish and breaks it down into the good feelings at the root of our wishes.
Our mind can make us think we want very specific things. But what we think we want and what we actually need for our life path, aka soul intentions - don’t always align.

If want and need don’t align, we hit road blocks, get frustrated and give up. But, our soul intention is always for us to have peace and happiness. So, we manifest through focus on feelings. In that way our manifestation will always turn out perfect for us. It works like this
Listen in as Diane gives us personal examples on bringing manifestations to life and why it is important to FEEL the outcome...even before we take our first step.

Big news for those who have an iPhone, iPad, or any Apple device that has Siri capabilities on it...we can soon expect a check from Apple! It may only be $20.00 but STILL! A payday is a payday.
On this week's Tech Talk, David Snell of ACT Smart I.T. in Wareham tells us all about this class action settlement agreement. It was discovered that Apple allegedly takes "audio data [that] was disclosed without users' consent to a network of third-party marketers and advertisers". Basically, our phone or whatever devices, have been eavesdropping on us!
I am sure you are saying to yourself, "show me the money!". There are a couple of things you need to know about your potential payout:
According to court documents, Apple is set to create a $95 million non-reversionary fund to cover payments to class members, attorney fees, awards for class representatives, and administrative costs.
The settlement applies to all U.S. based current or former owners of Siri-enabled devices, like iPhones, iPads, and Macs, whose communications were obtained or shared without consent due to unintentional Siri activations between September 17, 2014, and December 31, 2024. Class members can claim up to $20 per Siri-enabled device for up to five devices.
The preliminary approval period hearing is coming up on February 14th, 2025. After that, we have to put our claims in for our fair share of the settlement!
Also, if you would like to restrict Siri, head on over to David's full blog to read all about this class action lawsuit, how to restrict Siri, and important dates to watch out for.
